When you are an over-achiever you are likely to go into robot mode from time-to-time. Never backing down, never being scared, you are a go-getter. You give your all, you make few mistakes and you correct the few you make quickly. You practice to make perfect, you make great decisions and you make them without delay. You have massive amounts of intelligence and energy. You are almost super human.

This makes you more accomplished than most people you know. You know it and they know it…but for some reason you expect everyone to be like you. That is impossible. Don’t go around expecting everyone to be perfect. In order to know what strong is you have to have weak. The same goes for slow and fast or wrong and right. Let people take their time and live their lives the best way they know how. Let them make mistakes and let them think them through on their own. Don’t attack them. If they ask you for help, gently offer a helping hand. Don’t cripple them but give them a nudge in the right direct and then back off.

The statement that all men (women) are created equal is not true. Some people are smarter, faster, stronger and wiser than others. People may have equal opportunities but may not know how or have what it takes to utilize those opportunities. That doesn’t make them bad it just makes them human. Often times they are doing the best with what they have at the time. Forgive them for being weak, scared, ignorant, indecisive, unorganized, late and most important, not like you.

Perfection is extremely hard to come by. So let most people be human and put away the judgment. If you want to strive for perfection go right ahead, but remember you are not competing against the world. That is your own personal competition with your inner super hero.

Excepting others…Now That’s Presidential!
